Airline Pilot (ATP). The Airline Transport Pilot License allows its holder to fly professionally as a captain or co-pilot of a jet liner or multi-crew aero plane. The ATPL involves more advanced piloting knowledge about the jetliners, turbine engines, airport operations and airline operations. It focuses on skill and experience on a higher level than the CPL with great consideration to decision making, safety, identifying and managing threat and error as well as recognizing and coping with failures and emergencies. In regular training, the student progresses at their own pace and the training period is indeterminate and depend of the speed of learning of the student. By cons, the ACS college integrated training is an approved training by both Transport Canada and ministry of education which all educational stages are completed in one continuous course.
